    James Sweet:

I would have thought that the fact we are developing these tools to make it easier for customers to check their usage was evidence in itself that we cared.

    Hi there.

A bit late on the boat, but I maintain the current Linux (well, mainly - it's Perl so runs everywhere) client, and would love to get on the beta. It would be great if you could have native non-browser apps for all O/Ss at launch, no ?
I can't seem to get the private messaging thing at the invite URL to like me, so please forgive asking here instead.

Great news about this web service being launched - I've certainly wanted it since the caps were introduced !

Sorry for the delay. Been adding some new features before the release of the next beta. Confirmation emails will be sent out today.

    I'm currently a BETA tester.

I haven't been sent a confirmation e-mail for the next BETA so does this mean that I'm not on the list?

    Do I have to reapply?

Re: What has happened to the Usage View API

All existing BETA testers will be notified of new versions when they are released. The E-Mail I mention above is the confirmation of "being a BETA tester" for those people on phase 3 invites.

The next release is due within the next couple of days which is why I have not yet sent out the links to the new testers (seems a little pointless when the release will change so shortly afterwards!)

The release will only initially affect the Windows. NET client  however the other clients may well be updated later. Some new methods are being added to the web service so all clients will be able to use them including anyone writing their own.

Rough aim for a public release is second week in May although as usual this is subject to change due to higher priority work.

Appears I didn't make the beta tester grade. No invites here.

    Ah well.

"The links to the client applications you have selected will be sent out within the next couple of days."

I guess he must be having problems with it Tongue Tied

Re: What has happened to the Usage View API

The links have been sent out today.

Somewhat later than anticipated. Apologies for this.

If you are registered as a BETA tester then you should have recieved an email. A public release is due next once any bug fixes have been resolved.

    I haven't received my e-mail Sad

(I originally registered my interest over on thinkbroadband as opposed to here so I don't know if this makes a difference?)

I'm using version 1.0.2 but I don't know if this is the latest version?

Re: What has happened to the Usage View API

The E-Mail sent out was for updates to the Windows .NET forms client. The other clients have not been updated therefore unless you registered an interest in the Windows client you will have not recieved an email. If you wish to have a look at this client too, send an E-Mail to the feedback address or to my E-Mail address.

    Thanks

    Carl
