    Re: No Email

I have had problems on and off for a while with Zen E-Mail

I will contact support but the messages vary, they all boil down to the fact that my Zen email doesnt work, a couple of

    examples are,

Outlook  "The specified server was found but there was no response from the server. Please verify that the port and SSL info is correct. To access these settings & etc"

Windows Live Mail  " Unable to send or receive messages for the ------------ account. The connection to the mail server has failed"

I use two other POP services that work ok and we have two hotmail addresses both of which work ok through Windows Live Mail.

    Re: No Email

    Hi,

If you log in via Webmail (http://webmail.zen.co.uk/) do you experience any problems?  As I say, there are no general issues.  I have also taken a look at your account on our systems and it is working correctly.

Have you installed or updated any anti-virus or security software that could have affected your mail settings?  You may wish to try disabling such software and confirm that your e-mail settings for accessing your Zen e-mail are still correct, as follows:

    Incoming Mail server (POP): mailhost.zen.co.uk

    Outgoing Mail server (SMTP):  mailhost.zen.co.uk

    Username: zenxxxxxx@zen.co.uk

Password: As provided in your technical details (unless you've changed this via the Customer Portal)

If you're still having problems I'd advise calling Technical Support (0845 058 9009) for further advice.  Given your account is working correctly here I would expect there may be some local setting affecting your collecting/sending of e-mail via Zen.

    kind regards,
    Phil D.Long

    Thanks, Roger

Have now got that working ok but I dont know what I did to get it going again
