Just to say, I did finally get this sorted out. After a shaky start, Zen have actually been very helpful with it all. It eventually transpired that they do offer a separate DNS-only package (£14.99/year), which they don't advertise very much as most people go for the full domain registration & hosting. Even the guy in technical support wasn't aware they offered it until he'd looked into it. So I've ended up buying that package. (I was a bit worried about Zone Edit, having read a couple of forum posts in which people complained about unexpected pop-ups and redirects suddenly appearing.) All seems to be working fine now anyway. Thanks for the advice, and hope this thread helps someone else in future.

So the best way to find out what Zen are offering seems to be to check these forums and get the info from their customers!

Good on you for getting your problem sorted, I ended up having to move my site elsewhere after Zen tech support were unable to help.
