    SuSe 10.2 VLC error?

I am trying to install VLC but keep getting this error help.

    http://download.videolan.org/pub/videolan/vlc/0.8.6/SuSE/10.2

Unknown Error: Downloading metadata failed (is YUM source?) or user did not accept remote source.

    Aborting refresh.

You might be better off downloading the Packman version at http://packman.iu-bremen.de/suse/10.2/. VLC has a lot of dependencies, so the best option of all (in my opinion) is to use the Smart package manager for jobs like this.

You're welcome. Packman provides a great service to Suse users.
