Hi,
Aero Glass is a pain in the ass!! & have you seen how much RAM you actually have to have installed on a system before it runs with anything like good performance. ( I heard that Microsoft had demo machines with 4GB of RAM) Oh!! not to mention that you'll need to spend atleast £100 on a new all singing & dancing graphics card with 512megs mem on it. Oh! and then theres the small problem of drivers for hardware to run with Vista even if you've thrown your overdraft at the new system.
**Come on!! its nothing more than Microsoft Bloatware, as an OS it humongus, its horribly BIG!! in size.
**All that eye candy I find a massive turn off TBH.
**When I saw the new Vista Ultimate interface I nearly fell off my chair, its so like Mac OS X I couldnt beleive my eyes ( I was using Mac OS X back in the year 2000 at work, talk about Deja Vou!!).
**Talk about trying to re-invent the wheel, please!!
**WGD (windows genuine disadvantage)
**WGB (windows genuine bloatware)
Sadly, the general public still seem to fall for the same old cheesy Microsoft cliche's & lies about how Vista is the best & most productive version of windows ever. I am NOT convinced & am yet to be impressed. Oh!! & YES!! I have installed Vista numerous times now & the setup routine is dreadfull. At times you have no idea what an earth its doing. Its so bad I thought it had crashed several times. One & a half hours later I finally had a working Vista system.
