    Running Mailwasher in Ubuntu

I downloaded Mailwasher for Kubuntu (no specific Ubuntu file) and it installed OK but then I could not find any link to it in the applications folders.

Anyone had experience of using Mailwasher with Ubuntu? With the amount of spam sent to me I need something.

A quick Google for 'Ubuntu mailwasher" doesn't seem to produce much that's useful. Several people suggest that you might be better off running the Windows version of Mailwasher with Wine. It might be worth looking at Spamassassin instead.

    Thanks

I got mailwasher to run by typing "Mailwasher" into terminal but I would have to pay for it in 30 days and it seems quite buggy compared to the windows versions which I use.

Will have a look at spamassasin.

What mail client are you using?

It migh be best to see what anti-spam measures dovetail with your mail client first, and then setting up the relevant package.
