Hello,

No - it does not support SSL connectivity; and it isn't something we'll look at implementing.  The news service is only accessible from Zen IPs - so traffic doesn't traverse any other network. To be honest I can't really see what benefit SSL on our news server would provide to customers; though am happy to be enlightened as to reasons it would be useful.

The only reason I can see that SSL would add to zens usenet servers would be added privacy, but apart from that I cannot see any other reason's, but you probably know alot more about what benefits if any it would bring to the table if it were available than I do, so I digress.
