Is Zen's email virus scanning automatic ?

Hi all, just wondered if virus scanning of email is on automatically.

Can't find a setting in the portal to turn on or off so I assume it's on all the time.

Does it scan outgoing , smtp, too ?

Just wondered as a lot of my email is forwarded through a domain provider who also filter

spam and viri which can be turned on / off , and then avast scans it  ..seems daft to have it processed 3 times.

ok .. found this on the Web site

    > Zen Internet implements free virus checking for customers with e-mail hosted on our e-mail platform (mailhost.zen.co.uk), automatically scanning mail at our border mail servers to reject viral payloads before they can enter our network.<

Good enough for me , i'm not bothering with other email virus checking.

If support  look at the forum could you confirm that it is enabled for everyone and there's

no per user setting somewhere. thx.

Virus scanning is performed on our bastion hosts (inbound) and on the smarthosts (outbound). This is on by default and there is no per-user setting.
