Does Zen offer "push email" to the Apple iPhone?

Two of my colleagues have recently started using Apple iPhones and are often out and about seeing clients. They can connect to their Zen POP accounts but only when they initiate a connection.

We've read reports that the Apple iPhone will soon (June 2008, with the licencing of MS ActiveSync)) support Microsoft's push email service, which delivers email to connected devices as soon as they arrive on the mailserver (in this case at Zen) and offers remote synchronisation of contacts and calendar events as well.

I believe this would involve the use of Microsoft Exchange server at Zen. Is this offered now or is it planned for the future?

    Hi there,

There are currently no plans to support this functionality on the mail platform.  AFAIK though the planned iPhone changes will also apply to the .Mac mail accounts from Apple; it may be other third-party mail services also catch on (perhaps Yahoo/AOL/GMail as the other listed account types currently on the iPhone).
