Just wanted to ask how much bandwidth would be used if i was to play online games such as call of duty 4 per hour. I don't have a console yet (was thinking about a PS3) but just wanted to check how much bandwidth online gaming would take before buying a console.

I currently use about 15 -  18gb a month, so I would have about 5 gb to spare on online gaming…

So how much bandwidth does online gaming take…

Online gaming doesn't usually use up that much, although obviously the more you play the more you use. Still, 5gb should be more than enough to allocate there even if you are a heavy gamer (and also bear in mind that next month Zen 8000 active customers will get their allowance increased to 25gb a month)

What does use a lot of bandwidth however is downloading game demos and add-ons like maps etc (some demos are over 1GB each). Providing you don't download too many demos though you should still be fine

 I'm not really a 'heavy gamer' so I don't think it should be a problem.

Also like you said the download allowance wil be upgraded to 25gb next month for Zen 8000 Active users so it shouldn't be to bad...

When I first joined Zen in 2005, I had the Home 250 package so 256k connection.

I never got through more than 3GB in a month, including gaming, downloading.

So on 256k, 3GB a month was enough for Xbox Live and PC gaming let alone everything else.

 So there are much lower requirements for gaming
