    Guest access for Speedtouch 608wl

    Hi

I am using a Speedtouch 608wl in a SOHO environment. I would like to give visitors internet access via the wireless connection, while running a secure wired network. As far as I can see there are (at least) two options:

    a) VLAN - Configure the router to use a virtual lan and put the wireless interface in a guest network and the wired ports on the private network.

     b) Multiple wireless networks - I think the router supports multiple SSID and there is a way to set up one SSID to have internet access only, while the othere is on the private network.

I think VLAN setup is available via the GUI, while multiple SSID is via the CLI. Can anyone give any pointers to tutorials on setting up a VLAN?

Later I plan to extend the private network via a VPN to allow homeworkers access to the system via a router-router VPN.

    Many thanks
