    Router automatically rebooting

I have v7 of the Thomson 585 which works generally very well. It is connected to my Master socket via a Clarity faceplate installed by a BT engineer (helpful guy!)

I am less than 1k from the exchange and regularly achieve connection speeds of 7000 kbps or more. It syncs at 8128. There seems to be no interleaving and yet I'm getting up to 4 reboots a day. Can anyone confirm whether I should look to the line or the router itself for a fix? All the internal house wiring has been renewed up to the Clarity faceplate and there are no extensions elsewhere in the house. Any help appreciated!

I have a v6 585 connected via a Solwise faceplate. I'm slightly over 2k from my exchange and am syncing at 7648.

I have never known the router to reboot. It has reset the Internet connection and once or twice the DSL connection but it has never rebooted itself.

How many devices are connected to the router? Are you using a Zen template or did you configure the router yourself?

    Re: Router automatically rebooting

Thanks for your response. The router was set up by Zen as I remember. It's wired to a PC, although that PC historically has a wireless card also fitted. Around the home 4 other laptops including 2 Macs connect wirelessly and there are 2 Airport Express clients (One a b/g model, the other the latest n type)
I haven't had a reboot since posting! The router is on 24/7. There has been an Airport utility update but I can't imagine that changed much. Perhaps I'm fussing about nothing! Thanks for your help.
