I'm trying to use the custom template for routed ip and NAT on a 585v6 router - I've installed and gone through the procedure but there seems to be a problem with NAT.  Although my hard wired desktop is assigned an IP and is able to communicate with the router I am unable to access the internet.  The guide suggests that NAT in this mode should work the same way as a normal NAT set up (which works fine).

I have found the same problem:

 . 585v6 router

 . Internet and all Internet-side diagnostics work ok

 . LAN-side clients all DHCP correctly

 . Game & application sharing works ok - Internet connections are NAT'd correctly through to a statically addressed LAN-side client.

 . BUT....LAN-side clients cannot access Internet  :-(

It's as though it needs a route added to pass traffic from 192.168.1.x to the Internet.  Any ideas?

Going slightly off topic, I have a 608WL and would like routedIP and nat. There are three custom templates I've found

RIPNAT585.tpl RIPNAT5x6.tpl RIPNAT780.tpl  The commands used in them all appear valid for a 608WL so can I use one of these

to configure it ? assuming of course that the problem refered to earlier in this thread has been resolved.
