Hi.

When trying to send a USENET post, I get an error message saying the post contains no body.  For example:

zoeb$ nc news.zen.co.uk 119
200 Zen Internet NNRP shaftesbury.zen.co.uk Service Ready (posting ok)
POST
340 340 <4a0b334c$0$2533$da0feed9@news.zen.co.uk> (desired)
From: ZoeB <zoe@example.com>
Newsgroups: alt.test
Subject: Please ignore

Test body                    
.
441 Article has no body -- just headers
QUIT
205 Transferred 174 bytes in 0 articles, 0 groups.  Disconnecting.

Conversely, the exact same conversation with news.telesweet.net worked just fine.

Can anyone spot an obvious mistake I'm making?  Can other people post to news.zen.co.uk OK?

Just in case anyone else has the same problem, the solution appears to be to use a good old telnet client instead of netcat.
