On Wednesday this week we made some changes to the Customer Portal, the
text below is a copy of the announcement made at the time of the
release.
The main change is the way we present the tasks you can perform in the
portal. Previous feedback we have received has focused on the
difficulty customers have either knowing what functionality the portal
offers or how to access it. Hopefully this release addresses those
concerns.
As always we are interested in your comments on the changes, good or
bad. If you do have any criticisms, please try to be constructive so we
may consider making changes for future releases.
ANNOUNCEMENT:
At Zen we're working to continually improve the Customer Portal to make
it easier to use and provide you with full control over your products
and services.
We introduced further improvements on Wednesday, 17th June 2009 to the following areas:
- My Services
- Home Page
- My Orders
- Broadband Regrade Wizard
- Add Broadband Voice option
- Sign-in speed improvements
The biggest change you'll notice is to the My Services section of the
site. All available tools and settings are now displayed on the My
Services page together with an icon to make finding things a little
easier.
When you click on the task you'll be taken to it. If you have multiple
services applicable to a task e.g. technical details, then you'll see a
search screen where you can filter your services, make your selection
and then go to the task.
We've introduced the ability for Broadband customers to easily add the
Zen Broadband Voice option to their service, which can be accessed from
"My Services". In addition we've improved the "Broadband Regrade"
wizard to enable you to not only change your Broadband service and Care
Level, but also your IP Address assignment - you'll find this in the
"Upgrade a Service" tool.
Icons on the home page and "My Orders" section of the site have been
updated to use the same style as the new "My Services" view.
Fixes have been introduced which should see a reduction in sign-in times of up to 75% for customers with multiple services.
We're always grateful for your feedback and suggestions so please let us know what you think of the changes.
