    Webmail improvements possible?

I want to start using the webmail facility more, but was suprised to see only one folder called inbox ~
Any chance of improving this somewhat to contain additional customisable folders?

    RE: Webmail improvements possible?

We intend to replace the webmail client with a new shiner one that will support adding folders. A replacement webmail client is currently being looked into by our core department.
    Kindest regards,

I DO like the Horde product...
The box said "needs Windows 2000 or better" so I installed Fedora Core 6

I'd happily take the current version, though 10 times faster.

I've tried the speed on several computers, home (8Mb) and work (OC-3) on several different OSs and computers.  Access to the inbox appears to take ~20-30 secs, irrelevant of how much mail the inbox holds.  Subsequent actions (view email etc.) appear to take approx. 10+ seconds.  Friends with Zen also report the same issue.

I know the interface is a little lacking at the moment - but hey, it *is* useable.  (Though I only have a couple of hundred emails at any one time).

Personally, I'd go for speed over UI any day.  Is it just a matter of chucking faster/more servers at the system, or is the code that runs it a bit slow (presumably running security checks or suchlike)?

    Best,

    Jez

Well, this is quite a wait for any upgrade. I have been a Zen customer since 2005 for broadband, but only now have moved my email from a university system. I am pretty surprised that Zen, a premium service provider, still hasn't addressed a very poor webmail system. I mean, no sent items folder if you need to send an email?. No choice of identities? these are pretty basic! Webmail is a pretty useful item for many people like myself who have to travel alot.

    Hey ho!

Showing my ignorance there, sorry. For a copy of any email I send I can cc myself.
