Correct setup for STATIC IP and Hardware suggestions

    Hi,

I've recently upgraded to Zen 8000 pro and opted to have a Non-NAT setup. I'm just about to buy the hardware I need and I'd like some advice.

As far as I understand it, I need to be able to assign a STATIC public IP address to my modem/router then a STATIC public IP address to each of the clients I want to use an external address. Is it also then possible to assign a group of PC's to be NAT'd?

I was going to use my existing BT Voyager 205 as the ADSL part, and then I was going to get a Netgear Prosafe firewall/VPN unit for managing the network. Does this device also need an external IP address or do I set the ADSL modem to bridge mode? What's the 'best practice' way of doing it?

Any other things to watch out for?

    Thanks

    Andrew
