I think the surprising thing is that any of you bother to watch TV any more. Since it's gone digital - we've had nothing but 100 channels of imports, repeats and poor quality / un-stimulating ***. Churning out the same rubbish through yet another channel doesn't seem very appealing to me.
Personally I don't mind paying a TV license fee because the content on the BBC is worthwhile. As a very recent example the Stephen Fry weekend of programming was fantastic. As for repeats, we don't all get to see something the first time it is aired, at least now with the iPlayer we have a bit more control over what we watch and when.
I would like to see alternative delivery methods introduced. Peer to peer is ok but isn't very fast. The multicast trials proved that there are efficient and bandwidth-friendly methods of transmitting content, the downside to multicast is that it doesn't cater to the on-demand focus of iPlayer; as with regular TV transmissions you have to be there to watch it, or at least have the computer turned on to receive the transmission.
