  • Ring wire trick - has anyone tried this?

    Has anyone else here disconnected their ring wire(s) from the master socket to increase ADSL performance? I tried it this morning after reading this article: http://yarwell.blogspot.com/2005/08/adsl-tweaking.html It appears that my sync rate has increased by 1 / 1.5 Mb and my SNR has increased from a measly 4dBs to an acceptable 12dBs.
