I live in MK and was on the BT long reach trial as we were so far away from the exchange. Eventually we were able to get 512k and I was happy to be able to use Zen again for broadband after a few hideous weeks on dialup. Now – the latest tests show that we can get up to 1mb. When I first started with Zen over a year ago now I was getting around 1.4mb, from Jan this year 0.9mb.
Two weeks ago 0.2mb. Contacted CS and did all the normal stuff took of the face plate (ADSL Nation BB Filter) and fed router thru std filter into the back, downstream rate went back up to 1728. Zen suggested that the face ...

Reading several posts re distances from exchanges etc, I notice a lot of people who live 2-3km away are getting much faster d/l speeds than me.
I shall post my router details and if anyone can point out why I only get 3Meg despite living <1km away it would be appreciated
