    Feelings nothing more than feelings

Well my HDD caddie with Windows has now not been used for over a week, I am quite happy with the transition between them. The problem is the wife "It's always the wife I hear you say in agreement".

Well using firefox for me wasn't much of a problem however she is moaning that the functionality of the web browser isn't as nice as IE6. Is there a web browser out there for linux that look and feels more like IE. I know this might sound petty (it does to me as well) however the more I can get it looking like windows for her the easier it will be to keep her from removing my Linux caddie and putting windows caddie in. I am going to set her up with a logon and tweak her account to the extent of making her as comfy as possible as I want to recycle my 80GB windows XP HDD into a NAS drive or something.

I was thinking of netscrape or maybe Opera.

One option if she really digs her heels in is to run IE6 in Linux using Wine. It needs a little TLC to get it working but it's not really difficult. Have a look at

Opera has ots of skins available, some of which look like the windows colour scheme, however you will be stuck with those irritatiing tabs, as it is tabbed browser.  So much more convenient having to open a new instantiation of your browser everytime ypou want multiple pages!  (NOT)
The box said "needs Windows 2000 or better" so I installed Fedora Core 6
