You may want to take note of the uptime there - 26 days! I had all sorts of silly problems with ADSL Max some time ago. I was always running THE latest firmware, BT tested the line umpteen times, and between myself and Zen we went through the diagnostics countless times.
Now, I have a hunch my router was fighting the DSLAM when it was trying to re-sync the connections. The DSLAM was dropping the connection, but the router was trying to keep it up, then the two were fighting. Recently Zyxel released a new firmware, which I put on. I noticed something with this new firmware. Firstly, the WAN light is always orange, whereas it used to be green when connected, only orange whilst syncing. Secondly, in the status page it shows "Standard:ADSL_G.dmt", whereas it USED to say "Standard: mixed". The firmware is here: http://www.zyxel.co.uk/web/support_download_detail.php?sqno=122543
This in particular applies to the 660HW-61. I would imagine similar firmwares are out for other variants of the 660HW series.
