New version of Zen Customer Portal released

    New version of Zen Customer Portal released

    A new version of our customer portal has been released today.

    This version has many changes, a lot in the internal mechanism of the site however also a lot of visible changes. 

    The following are some of the major changes in this release:-

    • New E-Mail and Sub-Domain management module including spam settings and E-Mail forwarding
    • New broadband regrade wizard for changing your broadband service and/or care level
    • Newly designed portal homepage including broadband information
    • New information in the Broadband Line data tables
    • Daily usage figures for your broadband account
    • Some visual improvements and (much requested) increased font-size

    All comments good or bad welcome. Please try to be constructive in any criticism as we do take on your comments when considering new releases.

     For those interested in the Broadband Account usage checker web service, the final, public version is due for release next week after some delays due to other commitments. Initially the final release will again go the beta testers for a final test then providing there are no issues,  the release will be made public.  Watch this space.

    I like the new Customer Portal as after you have entered your log-in details, you are immediately taken to a page showing your usage stats as opposed to before when you had umpteen clicks  to access this information.

     I also like the Broadband Connection Daily Usage History but I do wonder if there's a bug as on the 21st (yesterday), I am meant to have uploaded over 6 GB of data whilst using hardly any downstream bandwidth Huh?

     

     
    Having said this, the new Customer Portal gets the thumbs up from me Yes

    Where is this? My Customer Portal does NOT have any of these changes.

    Make sure you click the show detail link next to "download usage allowance used".

    Hello,

    Yes! thank you for the new portal version just released, much appreciated. Some good changes.

    **Comment**, in future would it be possible to have a feature that tells the user the service that has been selected is activated (Enabled) or inactive (Disabled) for example:- Spam Filtering is now activated on this account, or web stats are now activated,etc.

    I tried it again today and it was all there! How Very odd!

    There were some data issues on that day and a couple of others.. This is a new process and is not the same as the one used to cap/uncap the services which is done elsewhere therefore there have been some teething issues with the data.

    The figures shown here are wrong for the 3rd and around the 20th. Apologies for any inconvenience this has caused. Next month should be problem free.
