    Draytek 2600G dropping wireless conenction

I have been using my Draytek for about 2 years with no problems, then over the past 3/4 months the wirless connections seems to drop seemingly randomly.  When it does drop I can view other wireless networks fine so it's not the local wireless card.  I can take my laptop and sit it right next to the router and it still won't connect.  The only way I can get it to re-connect is to reboot the Draytek.

I have made sure I installed the latest firmware.  But still the problem persists.  Some days it will be fine then other days it will disconnect several times a night.

    Most annoying! :(

    Bob,

Which version of wireless firmware is installed. You'll find it on the Wireless Lan Setup main page.  If it ends in a .1 then you have one of the older modules fitted and these were susceptible to intermittency.   If your unit was purchased new 2 years ago it will still be under warranty so you can get it fixed by Draytek.  Hope this helps.
