Hi All

 When I first started with Zen over a year ago now I was getting around 1.4mb, from Jan this year 0.9mb.

 
Two weeks ago 0.2mb. Contacted CS and did all the normal stuff took of the face plate (ADSL Nation BB Filter) and fed router thru std filter into the back, downstream rate went back up to 1728. Zen suggested that the face plate had broken down, OK I brought a new one fitted it and got back to my 0.9mb with a downstream rate or around 1300. Now today the rate is back to 448, took of the face plate again and fed in to the back, rate back 1600. what is going on, is there anythging happening on the line that can destroy the face plates?

Is there any extension wiring running off the back of the faceplate ?

Nope, I disconnected them all a when I had trouble earlier.

DON'T assume the problem your experiencing is local, it may be external i.e. BT related (I always tend to assume it's something I've done and so its my fault but experience tells me that it could be else where).
