Re: Unable to recieve mail from other domain's

    Hi,

Your mail server has to be able to correctly identify and talk to the nearest major mail server. Meaning that your mail server has to be able to perform a DNS look up or find the correct IP address to the mail server in the domain you wan to send onto. Some mail servers uses connectors to link to another ISP server (i.e. this is true of Exchange server I believe).

**Remember SMTP > for sending outbound mail or relaying email onto another server.

**POP3 for mail coming into your domain & mail server.

Either way DNS is invloved in x2 mail servers talking to each other, and this means you must have the MX records in Zen's DNS database in order for one server to correctly identify another mail servers location, & thus forward mail onwards.

?? hope that might be useful?

    Regards Ivan
