    ASP.NET Site compiled in v3.5

    Hi All,

I (inadvertantly) compliled my site in .NET V3.5 and of course this kicked off an error when i uploaded the site to the server. Is there anyway of downgrading the compiled site to 2.0? I've already tried changing the web.config file to read 2.0.50727 where it said 3.5 but this didnt work. At present the site is running (albeit without a web.config file) but not having the web.config file is stopping my login control from working.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

     Thanks and Regards

     Drew

I assume you're using VS2008 (not tried it yet - will have to do so soon).

Can you not just change the target framework in the project properties and then recompile it?

    Edit - Found this http://www.codeproject.com/KB/dotnet/targetnet2fromvs2008.aspx

Seems to list all the places you might need to change the framework target

    Kindest regards,
