    Vodafone Broadband - 550 errors

    Hi Folks,

Apologies if this is a dumb question, but I am a zen customer and email works fine when I go through my router.

However, when I use a different broadband (e.g someone else's network, on the train or my mobile broadband with vodafone) connection I cannot send my emails.

    I can receive them.

Is there a way that I can send my zen emails via a different provider or network?

    Thanks for reading.

    Cheers,

     Clem.

Sorry folks - should have looked at the forum closer.

It seems it is a known issue and the only solution at present it to use webmail.

We have supported POP3S and SMTP/TLS+AUTH for some time now, so you can now send/receive from anywhere on any network.

For POP3S you'll need to tell your mail client to connect via SSL.

For SMTP/TLS+AUTH you'll need to tell your client to connect to SMTP with TLS, and that you'll need to authenticate with the server, using your POP3 user/pass.
