In all seriousness, which genius at Zen decided to schedule the cPanel upgrades during business hours?
Yes, the work was scheduled to start at 6am. Yes, the work was scheduled to only last 3 hours. But since when has scheduled work actually taken the estimated time to complete? (Storage Area Network, I'm looking at you!)
We didn't get our server back until 6pm - 12 hours downtime!! It caused us no end of grief, and now my boss is seriously talking of suing for loss of business, due to not being able to deliver on a job he spent 2 weeks travelling to China to set up.
Isn't this the sort of thing that nights and weekends are for...?
The cut-and-paste "We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause" is not a satisfactory answer...
