    Zen as a backup MX?

    Hi Folks,

I currently run my own mail sever from home - my domain is managed through plusnet (just the name) who offer a backup relay to add in to the MX chain. In the event that my server fails (frequently at the moment) - incoming mail stacks up on their relay and then comes through to me when I come back on line.

    Here's the problem ...

I have a spam mail coming in - I do a reverse lookup of the connecting host, find it's not real and then reject the mail. The spammer then walks down the list of MX records - find the plusnet one which doesn't perform the same check - which then relays the *** back through to me. As a result, I've had to remove them from the MX list and so I've lost my backup.

Do Zen provide anything similar? If so - will it perform any integrity checks against inbound mail before sending it on - and what would I have to do to get that support?

    Regards

    Dan
